Pac-em eats one, the goblins will turn blue for a few seconds, at which time she can eat them! Be careful, though, because once the goblins flash back to normal they'll be after her again! After certain levels, an intermission screen will be shown which tells the story about Ms. In the corners of the mazes are power pills. With each maze you clear, the goblins become faster and more difficult to avoid. Pac-em is to eat as many dots, fruits, and pretzels you can while avoiding the four goblins. A complete remake of the look and feel has created a truly enjoyable game. Pacman, this version offers superb graphics, Soundblaster support and enhanced gameplay that truly makes you feel like you're in an arcade! A completely re-designed user interface is now easier and more powerful than before. The description at CHAMP Games Fan Page says it all about this excellent remake of ATARI's classic Ms. Finally, the game features a variety of options - one or two player modes, three difficulty levels, adjustable game speed, input by keyboard, mouse or joystick (Champ even released a "Champ cable" that allowed you to play the game with digital joysticks), and a high score table to round it all off. The maze editor provided is entirely mouse controlled, but somewhat difficult to handle. The "Champ" mode has the same game play, but features more and different bonuses and levels. Pac-em even has the "cut-scenes" between some levels of the original arcade. Some fruit hops around now and then, get it for bonus points! Ms. You know what to do: Run through the labyrinth, munch dots and avoid those naughty ghosts. The "Classic" mode plays and feels much like the arcade machine, with very similar graphics, sound and gameplay.

Like the other games in CHAMProgramming's series of arcade remakes, it emulates the original with two different game modes, the original "Classic" mode and an enhanced "Champ" mode, and even a maze editor for making your own levels.
Pac-em is a DOS shareware remake of the classic Ms. Pac-Man, leading all the way up to the arrival of "Junior".CHAMP Ms. Survive a few rounds of gameplay, and the player will be treated to humorous intermissions showing the growing romantic relationship between Pac-Man and Ms. The Energizer power only lasts for a limited amount of time, as the ghost's eyes float back to their center box, and regenerate to chase after Ms. Pac-Man can eat them for bonus points (ranging from 200, 400, 8, progressively).
During this time, the ghosts turn blue, and Ms. Pac-Man can turn the tables on her pursuers by eating one of the four Energizers located within the maze. One touch from any of these ghosts means a loss of life for Ms. Pac-Man attempts to clear four various and challenging mazes filled with dots and ever-moving bouncing fruit while avoiding Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Sue, each with their own personalities and tactics. This sequel continued on the "eat the dots/avoid the ghosts" gameplay of the original game, but added new features to keep the title fresh.
